I’m guessing it has to do with the fact that our boiling point is lower here, which throws the whole 5 minute fudge thing out of whack. This simply amazing cocoa and powdered sugar fudge recipe is a huge favorite of mine. Microwave fudge, anyone? Who would have thought? This simple, made in the microwave, cocoa and powdered sugar fudge is truly incredible! When you leave your fudge in the fridge, it will end up with a chewier bite versus a softer bite when left at room temperature.Should be famous cocoa microwave fudge may very well be famous, but I hadn’t heard of it until now. When you first take it out of the microwave, you might still see a big chunk of butter, but that’s ok, keep on stirring and the butter will melt. Mix the fudge and add pecans. Remove the bowl from the microwave and using the spatula or wooden spoon mix it all together until smooth.Place the bowl in the microwave oven and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Microwave. Place the butter on top, just a butter stick right out of the fridge, doesn’t need to be melted.You’ll have big lumps and still some of the powdered sugar and cocoa will be dry but don’t worry, that’s ok. ![]()
